Zenith head to South East Asia for flare project

Lifting Davit Test

Zenith was requested to replace an offshore flare tip by an existing major petrochemical client in Southeast Asia, with an incredibly tight deadline. Fortunately, Zenith had previously replaced the tip in 2013, using Zenith’s innovative lifting davit solution, eliminating the need for expensive barge cranes and helicopters.

Zenith’s engineering team checked and reissued the original design to Zenith projects team, who erected and carried out the required FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) at Zenith’s R&D testing facility, which was independently witnessed by a 3rd party verification contractor.

The equipment is scheduled to leave the UK for its 7-week journey to the offshore facility, with Zenith’s installation team scheduled to depart late July 2024 to execute the flare tip replacement. The client is delighted with Zenith’s ability to turn around a complex project within an extremely tight timeline. This is down to Zenith’s in-house capabilities in design, supply, testing, and project execution. Zenith reputation as a world leader in our field of expertise is derived from our ability to innovate and bring engineering excellence to the forefront of everything we do.
