FORKLIFT OPERATOR/LABOURER
Location: Petroineos, Grangemouth
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience 

Typical Duties:
Operating Counterbalance rough terrain forklift with hydraulic pick-up hitch.
Carry out daily checks / Maintain allocated plant.
Manual handling/ Loading & unloading of scaffold materials.
Hitching, Towing & unhitching Material Trailers.

Requirements:
Must be certified. (CPCS Card with correct qualifications)
Must have previous refinery experience.
Experience of hitching, towing and unhitching material trailers

Workers should be able to:
Practice good safety habits
Work well within a team
Follow instructions and meet set standards
Judge Distances and slopes accurately
Make decisions based on verifiable standards.

Physically, workers must be able to:
Stoop, bend, and crouch
Use hands, arms, and legs fully.

SENIOR CIVIL AND STRUCTURAL ENGINEER
Location: Loanhead or Luton
Type: Permanent
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience 

We are looking to recruit a Senior Civil and Structural Engineer to join our engineering team based in Edinburgh. You will work as part of our team to deliver technical solutions on a variety of projects. Projects range from high industrial structures to historic listed buildings. At Zenith we have several core clients that we continually provide engineering solutions for and you will be required to become a key part of the team to deliver a high-quality service to our clients. 

Responsibilities 

Main responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Design of steel and reinforced concrete structures in accordance with Eurocodes for predominantly industrial infrastructure. 
  • Produce temporary works designs for our inhouse contracting business. 
  • Prepare inspection scopes and produce survey reports from site investigations. 
  • Carry out site surveys when required. 
  • Monitor and mentor graduate engineers and trainee technicians. 

Requirements 

  • Proficient in the use of structural design software i.e. Autodesk Robot, Tekla Tedds etc. 
  • Good time management to deliver calculations and reports to project deadlines. 
  • Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working in the UK construction industry. 
  • Excellent communication skills liaising with both internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Team player to become an integral part of the engineering team. 
  • Full UK driving licence. 
  • Chartered or working towards chartership – support will be provided for the successful candidate to attain chartered status if not already chartered.

MEng in Civil or Structural Engineering

INSPECTION ENGINEER 

Location: Loanhead or Luton

We are looking to recruit an Inspection Engineer to join our engineering team based either in our Loanhead or Luton office. You will work as part of our inspection team on a variety of projects throughout the UK. Projects range from high industrial structures to historic listed buildings. At Zenith we have several core clients that we continually provide a high-quality service for. You will be required to become a key part of the team to deliver solutions for our clients. 

Responsibilities 

Main responsibilities of the role are: 

  • Prepare inspection scopes and produce survey reports from site investigations. 
  • Carry out site surveys across the UK. 
  • Maintenance of inspection equipment. 

Requirements 

  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and inspection software. 
  • Good time management to deliver reports to project deadlines 
  • Team player to become an integral part of the inspection team.

Projects range from high industrial structures to historic listed buildings.
