Recently, Zenith completed a highly complex flare stack refurbishment project for Irving Oil at the Whitegate Refinery in Cork, Ireland. Faced with the challenge of removing and replacing the top 5 meters of the main riser, including the installation of permanent access, our world-class engineering team designed and rigorously tested a bespoke access system to facilitate the demanding task.
Expert Execution by Skilled Technicians
Led by Contracts Manager Darren Grimley, our team of highly skilled on-site operatives safely carried out the entire project. They installed the innovative engineering designed temporary access solution, removed and replaced the top 5 meters of the main riser including the associated service lines, installed a new permanent access gantry complete with access ladders, replaced the flare tip, and inspected the guyed support wires. The project was completed safely and on time, ensuring the flare was returned to service as planned.
