Zenith’s multi-disciplinary team recently completed the initial phase of a major conservation repair project at The Barony Hall in Glasgow.
The Barony Hall was acquired by the University of Strathclyde in 1986 and underwent a major refurbishment in 1989. Zenith’s expert team of structural engineers designed specialist scaffolding for our highly skilled conservation team to undertake timber and fletch tower repairs of the former gothic Victorian church.
The project scope included a 3D scan of the entire building thereby providing an accurate record of the structure and materials. This approach ensured that future preservation and repair of the building will be in line with the original building design.
The former church now provides a beautiful events space for the University including graduation ceremonies.
