Tender Assistant

Tender Support (Primary Focus)

  • Regularly log into tender portals to check for updates, clarifications, and new opportunities
  • Download and organise client-issued tender documents, ensuring they are stored correctly and shared with the team.
  • Assist in tracking and responding to tender clarifications under the direction of Estimators or Managers
  • Support the upload of final tender submissions, ensuring all documents are complete, correctly formatted, and submitted on time.
  • Liaise with Estimators to confirm all required documents are ready and accurate before submission.
  • Help compile supporting documentation
  • Assist in completing Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Selection Questionnaires (SQs) using standard company templates.
  • Help maintain internal compliance records and document control systems.
  • Maintain accreditation and certifications
  • Ensure tender submissions meet internal quality and branding standards

Required Experience/Qualifications

  • National 5s (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Out-look, Teams).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable Experience/Qualifications

  • Scottish Highers or HNC in English, Business Administration, Con-struction, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in an administrative or document control role.
  • Familiarity with tender portals or procurement systems.
  • Interest in construction, engineering, or project delivery environ-ments.
