Replacement of 7no. Induced Draught (ID) Fans – ExxonMobil, Mossmorran

Zenith continues to bring world-class innovation and excellence to all our engineering design capabilities, specialist access solutions, heavy lifting specialties and industry-leading onsite mechanical activities. Having all the necessary skills in-house, our highly qualified onsite teams work in demanding industrial environments such as petrochemical, oil, gas and power sectors. We provide extensive welding expertise, pipe fitting, plant replacements and installations oftentimes carried out during tight shutdown periods at both low and high levels.

Having built a long-term first-class working relationship with our valued client, ExxonMobil, and having successfully built Europe’s largest ground flare at their Mossmorran facility in Fife, Scotland, ExxonMobil’s engineering team confidently tasked Zenith to remove the existing 7no. furnace ID fans and install replacements, including the installation of new oil lube skids at each location and associated pipe work. The proposed replacement of the ID Fans are part of the furnace NOx reduction and safety improvements.

The entire project is planned for completion in the first quarter of 2026
