Zenith Structural Access Solutions Limited has successfully completed a major flare stack refurbishment in Flotta, United Kingdom. The full Scope of Works included:

• Prestart guy rope tension and flare riser verticality inspection.
• Inspection and preparation of the flare stack ladders, gantries, utility pipe work, cable trays and flare tip for removal and replacement.
• Assembly and testing of a RMD lifting davit with a 3t winch system and removal and replacement of the flare tip.
• Installation of specialist motorised platforms to gain access to remove the flare components. Installation of a materials/equipment air winch.
• Removal to grade of all vertical ladders and access platforms, 250mm fuel gas line, 75mm seal drain, 25mm pilot lines, associated thermocouple and cabling including cable trays.
• Grit blasting of the full structure and painting of the full structure.
• Installation of all refurbished or replaced ladders, gantries and utility pipe work including cable trays and associated cabling.
• Lubrication of the flare guy wires and tension check of guy wire and verticality of flare structure making all required adjustments, issuing of the final report together with certificate of conformity.
